In November 2014 Hills adopted a 1% L.O.S.T. (Local Option Sales Tax) to be effective from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2025. This 1% LOST money will be used 100% for improvement of streets, sidewalks, storm sewers, sanitary sewer systems, public potable water systems and parks.
